Chubby Yank - 6 - looked a liability all game.

Ward - 5 - Needed Andy McNab to fing him at times today.

Jody - 6 - Good game but goals win games and were conceding to easy.

Berra - 6 - As above.

Zubar - 6 - As above.

Jarvis - 6 - He is the Carling Black Label of football, weak as pi55.

Henry - 7 - Good game, as ever.

Jones - 6 - Ok but we have better.

Mancienne - 5 - One word ! Guedioura.

Foley - 6 - looks a full back, should have scored.

Doyle - 8 - Mom, class.

Subs.

Guedioura - 7 - Looks a good find.

Surman - NA.

SEB - NA.

Mick - 5 - Time to earn your corn pal, Vultures will be circling after today.

Didn't deserve to lose, but we won't stop up on luck...

the problem is mancienne aint a midfielder , foley aint a midfielder ,dave jones coulnt lace the serbs boots , that leaves henry on his own against bowyer and ferguson , now i have to admit we played ok , but 9 times out of ten that team would have been buried , what would doyle be like when played in an attackin formation , ..................... unfortunatly we we only know when mccarthys gone :bye:

Its not looking good now, three tough games coming up.
Every one can see it but why cant Mccarthy.Foley
and Mannciane are not midfielders, our centre backs
are yards off the pace as Phillips got the better
of them and if he can do that so can everyone else.

We defended to deep and let them run the show and that
is what you get.Best form of defence is attack and were
not doing that. Doyle will not be a Wolves player next
season he is just to good to be playing Championship football
the man has done everything on his own and he could do
much better if we had players supplying him with crosses
and passes.Poor result only posotve out the game is that
we played slightly better then Tuesday night.

it was nothing to do with defending it was how we kept hoffing the long ball straight back to birmingham city, we played some lovey stuff on the deck short one twos in the end of the first half and beginning of the second it was mccarthys long ball what cost us today.

it was what i saw 2 pathetic pieces of defending for the goals 1st one why didnt berra put a tackle in and the 2nd one if ward would have backed off their player any more he'd av been in the blues end

The difference between success and failure in football can be very small at times , 11 minutes from holding out for a win, midtable and we are all fickle fookers! then bang bang we are cemented in the bottom three. We lost because of lack of ambition, we should have gone 442 when 1-0 up 20 mins to go and we had blues rocking but we tried to hang on and paid the price. There is no point in banging on about Mick because we all know he is stubborn, arrogant and tactically niave so we can expect nothing less.
Saw an interesting article in Mail today indicating that if pompey don't go into admin by wednesday they WILL be wound up and when they adjust the points we move up the league. So I expect them to go into admin and reduce to 6 points.Either way I think we are doomed !

Hahnemann - 7 - No chance with goals

Ward - 5 - Needs to learn when to put a tackle in

Jody - 5 - First and last 15 minutes were chaotic in our defence

Berra - 5 - As above.

Zubar - 5 - Nearly gave away another needless penalty just after we had scored. Should have scored with a free header.

Jarvis - 7 - Worked hard and gave us options down the left. Noticable the goal came after he came off and our sub didn't track back.

Henry - 7 - Good game, as ever.

Jones - 6 - Why can't he take a direct free kick ? Has to p!ss about flicking it up !!

Mancienne - 4 - Getting worse with each game, needs a rest

Foley - 6 - Works hard but limited going forward

Doyle - 9 - God help us if he gets injured.

Subs.

Guedioura - 7 - Fair play, he came on and made a positive impact. Didn't track back on the second goal.

Surman - NA.

SEB - NA.

Apart from the first 15 mins when we were all over the place I thought we did well, and couldn't see Blues getting back into until I saw that little turd warming up (I wish he played for us).
I said to Mrs Stour "He always scores against us, watch the basturd knock a couple in now" The look on her face when the second went in was incredulous, and she wondered how I knew.
This is Wolves luv, and someone up there doesn't like us !!

Wise words.

It comes to something when we're trying to predict how a team in financial trouble will fold and how this will help us climb the league.

The fact is that it's results like Portsmouth at home, more than Birmingham away, that has put us in this position.

One of the lads in the pub before the match yesterday said if Burnley stay up it's because of their home form. My reply was, if we go down it's because of our home form!

We'll see how many point we take from our next 3 home matches!
